Jamie Blackwell @kerjerberphoto is a film based photographer currently residing in so called ‘Ottawa’ – unceded and unsurrendered Anishinaabe Algonquin territory. They studied digital commercial photography at Algonquin College, graduating in the spring of 2020. During their time at Algonquin, they realized that commercial photography did not feed their passion. Jamie was gifted their first SLR in the winter of 2019 and fell in love with the artistic process of film photography. Today their shooting style is primarily street photography, capturing stills within the decisive moment. Their work has been published in several zine issues of the Ottawa based zine @doitforthegrain, as well as their 3rd year anniversary exhibition in 2022 and the zine’s postcard charity fundraiser in 2021.
The card interior has a safe print area of 4.75” x 6.75”. Keep your message and signature(s) within this space.
