Ottawa Food Bank, Ottawa, Ontario

KickStart Program
We believe hunger erodes human dignity, lessens human energy and impairs potential. Our mission is to collect and distribute food to member agencies serving people in need in the Ottawa area.

The Ottawa Food Bank's KickStart Program is devoted to feeding children from low-income families year-round. Through school meal programs and after-school clubs, KickStart provides delivery of nutritious snacks and meals to children who come to school or return home hungry. KickStart also supplies lunches to summertime community day camps where there are no meal programs available.
